ELA Teachers use GPTZero to check answers on tests, Sample Work, and Portfolios. 

The GPTZero Report does not prove that AI was used, and it does not mean that a certain percentage of the assignment was written by AI. It means the writing has patterns that are more or less similar to AI-generated writing. We use this as one piece of information, not as a final answer. If the score is 75% or higher, this is concerning, so we will call the student to talk about their writing process, look at the student’s usual work, and give the student a chance to explain.
