The Middle School ELA classes foster an environment in which students are comfortable engaging in discussions and using multimedia tools to explore and build relevant digital literacy skills in English speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Middle School ELA Overview
Students need to be able to gather, comprehend, evaluate, synthesize, and report on information and ideas. The world requires us to conduct original research in order to answer questions or solve problems, and to analyze and create an extensive range of print and nonprint texts using various forms of media. These are real-life skills that you will learn in this class to be ready for college, workforce training, and life in a highly technological society.
